AFL has set out to provide reporting capabilities that significantly reduce the time and cost of report production to the extent that management information is comprehensive and a ‘free' by-product of processing a company' s transactions. AFL can write reports or provide training to use the reports.
The provision of reports and presentation ready financial statements is a key requirement for all implementations. However, this crucial requirement is often the last to be started and frequently the activity that goes over budget; the reports are never completed and the implementation is judged by many to have, at best, under delivered.
This problem area has been addressed in a number of ways.
- AFL has developed a powerful Portfolio Analyser program that allows any subset of data to be quickly and easily extracted for immediate reporting or exporting to a spreadsheet for further manipulation. Portfolio Analyser usually provides 80% of a customers standard reports and all ad hoc enquiries. AFL has rapid report writers for Investment Monitoring and Sales Invoices.
- AFL use the Seagate Crystal Reports reporting package and we have built a report engine that allows customers to quickly build hierarchical financial statements.
- AFL provides standard reports that meet all BVCA & EVCA reporting guidelines.
- We have reporting structures for the general and portfolio ledgers that enable companies to be consolidated.
- Finally, we have personnel with considerable experience of writing financial statements using Crystal Reports.
AFL can maintain customer specific reports as part of the overall maintenance service
